The Introductory Seminar for the Finalists of the Open International Competition for the Development of a Master Plan for Grozny has ended
More than 50 specialists from Russian and international professional organizations in the field of integrated development of territories, urban planning, architecture and design came to Grozny to participate in the event, representing the consortiums that reached the final of the Competition:
• Consortium led by Artemy Lebedev Studio (Moscow, Russia);
• Consortium "City of Generations" (Moscow, Russia);
• Consortium MASTER'S PLAN (Moscow, Russia).
In order to intensively immerse in the atmosphere of the city, the format of the seminar included study tours of the objects that are priorities in the development of the master plan, as well as discussions to receive feedback on scenarios for the use of spaces.
The participants visited the cities of Grozny and Argun, visited the territory of the Grozny Sea and inspected the sites for detailed study in the master plan. In Argun, the finalists paid special attention to the future development and restoration of industrial areas.
