The second orientation webinar for potential participants in the Open International Competition to develop a master plan for the research and technology districts of the Sirius Federal Territory will take place on March 27 at 12:00 p.m. GMT.
Speakers at the event will include representatives of the Talent and Success Educational Foundation, the administration of the federal territory, the Science and Technology University and the Sirius Innovation Science and Technology Center, as well as the competition operator, Agency for Strategic Development “CENTER”, which will act as a moderator for the webinar. Participants will be given detailed information about the federal territory, the competition sites and their surroundings. They will also be reminded of the procedural aspects of the competition, such as the goals and objectives, the order of conduct of the competition, and the specifics of its terms of reference. There will also be a questions and answers session. The webinar will be held in Russian with simultaneous interpreting into English.

Architectural bureaus and development institutes from around the world are invited to participate in the competition. Applications can be submitted on the official en.siriusmasterplan.com website until May 30, 2025. All information on progress of the competition will also be posted there.
The master plan must outline conceptual scenarios for the spatial organization and functional use of two scientific and technological districts of Sirius, with areas of 19.4 and 23.1 hectares. The construction of specialized and residential real estate and the development of high-tech medicine specializing in combating oncological diseases and ensuring healthy longevity are planned for the first district. On the other, it is planned to build the second phase of the scientific and technological campus of Sirius University, as well as to create a high-tech district with laboratories, engineering infrastructure, and data centers.
The winner will receive a total of 9 million rubles and will be able to participate in the implementation of their proposals in a unique territory specially created for the development of talented young people from all over the world, who will search for answers to the main challenges of our time, and development and implementation of the most advanced technologies.
